Software for Satellite Optical Communications
QRBIT develops specialized software tools for the design, optimization, and management of free-space optical and quantum communication missions. Our suite supports end-to-end mission planning, including link budget analysis, satellite orbit propagation using real ephemeris data, atmospheric turbulence modeling, cloud coverage forecasting, and configuration of both classical and quantum communication protocols. With more than 40 configurable inputs and 15 key performance outputs, the software suite provides full coverage of the communication chain, not only from orbital dynamics and atmospheric effects to protocol-level performance, but also encompassing detailed hardware specifications such as telescope design, terminal parameters, payload characteristics and more. Applications range from QKD and optical mission design to link performance forecasting and integration with ground station and terminal control software for real-time link management. Designed for system integrators, mission planners, researchers, and operators, our tools combine intuitive interfaces with powerful modeling capabilities. Design & Development of Sub-Components
