We are thrilled to announce the launch of QRBIT, a new spin-off company founded by researchers from the Photonics Communications Research Laboratory (PCRL) of ICCS and the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), NTUA. QRBIT is dedicated to advancing the future of optical and quantum satellite communications.
Emerging from pioneering research at the Photonics Communication Reserch Labortory (PCRL), QRBIT’s mission is to transform scientific breakthroughs into real-world solutions for secure global satellite-based communications.
Our goal is clear: to help build the foundations of a quantum-secure world, where information can travel safely across borders and through space.
QRBIT was founded by:
- Dr. Giannoulis
- Dr. Stathis
- Mr. Ntanos
with the support of faculty members from NTUA:
- Prof. Hercules Avramopoulos
- Prof. Athanasios Panagopoulos
- Asst. Prof. Dimitrios Apostolopoulos
As a spin-off, QRBIT represents the journey from academic research to entrepreneurship — bridging the gap between the lab and the market. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of quantum technology and ensuring Europe takes a leading role in secure communication infrastructures.
This is just the beginning, and we’re excited to share the road ahead.
